  1. I’m a middle aged white guy. And, I absolutely agree with you that we are going about this issue of white masculinity and mass murder in the wrong way. If an African American kills someone, it’s and ‘angry Black’ problem. They’re all thugs, anyway.
    If a Muslim commits a crime it’s that evil Islam.
    But, when a white person commits a most heinous crime, it’s suddenly a mental health issue. That’s a diagnosis that will only exacerbate the problem. We should start with calling it what it is, White Supremacy. Then we can begin to deconstruct and maybe, MAYBE begin to address the problem in a constructive and healing way.
