@Issue with Steve Highsmith

It was my pleasure to have been invited on NBC 10’s @Issue, hosted by Steve Highsmith. The show was about religious leaders and how they try to lead Muslims, Christians and Jews toward peace in a post-9/11 era. I was joined by Rabbi Richard Hirsh and Rev. Sherri Hausser, both of whom I enjoyed meeting and hope to work with again in the future.

    This is a moment long awaited, a breath of fresh air from young Chaplin Manley who speaks with the voice of one who recognizes the Day of Judgment is being held at bay and is grounded enough to sound and think with reason, tempered by the Qur’an and the traditions of Prophet. Young Muslims you need not scream and become unstable like those who secretly fear their message has flaws. Here’s a man with humble beginnings and a true need to do his part, take from this and do your part, whatever it is and remember Allah while you struggle. Remember that your struggle is here and that you now have one who will help you. May Allah continue to reward you, Chaplin Manley.
