About

65 is an experiment in poetry, with a special focus on Deletion poetry. The body of work is on-going in hopes of publishing it in book format some day. Roughly speaking, the system is to take words that have been selected from at least two divergent sources, then reconstruct said words into new sentences and contexts. Sometimes the grammar is right – sometimes it’s not [the use of "a" where "an" would be grammatically correct but there is no "a" to choose from]. The significance of the number 65 is that the words [only referring to the Deletion poems] are taken from page 65 and only from page 65. This was initially inspired by a poetry course I took at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Thanks Pattie.
